I approach therapy with a genuine curiosity about your unique experiences, and how they have shaped you. My role as a therapist is to create a space where you can build a secure relationship with yourself and access your inner strengths and resources.
I have a humanistic lens to therapy. specialize in trauma-informed therapy with training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and EMDR. I incorporate techniques from art based practices, somatic work and presence based approaches.
I work with a trauma-informed perspective, which means I’m mindful of how past experiences—whether big or subtle—can shape your present patterns and responses. The focus is on creating a safe, empowering space where we can gently explore how those experiences continue to affect you, and support your journey toward healing and balance.
IFS is a therapy approach based on the idea that we all have different “parts” within us. These parts often carry burdens from past experiences or take up protective roles like people-pleasing, procrastination, self-criticism. Through IFS, we befriend these parts, creating harmony and balance within you as your Self energy leads your inner system.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy helps you process distressing memories or experiences that may still affect how you feel and respond today. EMDR uses Bilateral Stimulation to help your brain integrate these experiences, allowing old emotional wounds to heal, making space for more ease and clarity in the present.
